This page is a work in progress.  I will be using knowledge from my own experiences as well as from friends, family, and clients to create a running list of helpful tips.  Have a great tip that you don’t see?  Please email me, so I can post them to this page.  Thanks!
- We rented a double stroller from www.orlandostrollerrentals.com and they were AWESOME!! I'm so glad we did it. The stroller folded up super easy, so it was never an issue on the bus, monorail, or even the boats! It was bigger and definitely more comfortable than the hard Disney strollers, and cheaper too. It was waiting for us at the luggage service window at the resort and they put a bright orange name sign on it so you can easily identify it at the parks. When we were done with it, we just turned it back in at the luggage area at Riverside and the company came and picked it back up. Thanks to Trisha from Cypress, TX for this tip!
- Don't think you have to wait until your kids are "old enough to remember it." We took our girls for their first time when they were just under 2 and 3. They had a MARVELOUS time, we made amazing memories for ourselves just watching them discover that Disney magic... and thanks to all the home videos they watched over and over through the years they really think they remember it! They're 13 and 14 now, and I wouldn't trade those memories for all the world. Thanks to Angi from Spring, TX for this tip!
- Plan early, understand that you can make dining reservation 180 days FROM THE START of your vacation, NOT 180 from the day you want to dine.
- When at the park, USE THE DISNEY EMPLOYEES. IE, use the guys at the counter to fine tune your plans. They are experts at helping you get the most out of your disney experience.
- Get the dining plan.....unless your family prefers to take meals to the park, which is cool, but not as convenient.
- Plan your vacation for October, good weather, less people.
- Join DVC...it is worth the cost. Thanks to Curt from Makakilo, HI for these tips!
- If you want to go on Toy Story Mania you need to get to the park before they open, be ready to speed walk to the ride. Send one person in the party to the right to get Fast Passes and another to the left to get in the stand-by line! Don't think you can show up after noon and get on the ride without an hour and a half wait! BTW I LOVE THIS RIDE!! Thanks to Lindsey from Ko Olina, HI for this tip!
- Try not to run from ride to ride. Take your time in either of the Magic Kingdoms to notice the little things that make them so "Disney"....the honk of the street cars on Main Street, , the smell inside Pirates of the Caribbean, the howl outside the Haunted Mansion, the river boat whistle on Rivers of America...DOLE WHIPS! Thanks to Jason from Spring, TX for this tip!
