About Me

I was born and raised in Houston, TX. Growing up, my family visited either Disney World or Disneyland every 2-3 years. This is how I came to love and have a passion for anything Disney. All of my favorite memories include a Disney vacation. I have been to Disney World over 25 times, and Disneyland at least 6 times. After graduating high school, I attended Sam Houston State University where I graduated with a degree in education. I also met my husband Steve there who had never been to Disney World before. Steve really couldn’t imagine any reason why a newly married couple without children should go to Disney World. I quickly converted him. We went to Disney World our first Christmas together, and he has been hooked ever since. We recently joined the Disney Vacation Club and are loving being members.

Steve is a Major in the army, so we move all the time. We have a daughter, Kaylee, who will be eight at the end of this month, and a son, Wyatt, who was two in July. My biggest priority has been to stay home with my children because of the stress that an army lifestyle can have on a child. This year has been especially stressful, as Steve is currently in Iraq. He will be home in just a few weeks, and we are already planning our next Disney trip. We’re ecstatic that this long year is nearly over, and he is returning soon! It is a blessing that I am now able to stay home with my children and also work from home as a Disney travel specialist.

Moving so frequently can be a challenge at times. During her seven years of life, Kaylee has already moved eight times. Besides family, the one thing that is a constant in her life is Disney World. We go as often as we can. She has already been to Disney World eight times and Disneyland once. It really feels like a second home to us, and all our troubles disappear for the time while we are there. We are quickly turning Wyatt into a Disney fanatic as well. His first trip was to Disneyland at 5 weeks, and has been to Disney World twice. I am my happiest when walking down Main Street with my family. There is no way to describe that feeling. It would be a joy to share my knowledge of Disney with you and help you plan your next trip and help your family experience the magic that my family feels every time we step foot into the park.
